Aerotek Cnc Machinist in Erlanger, Kentucky
Aerotek, voted Best of Staffing, is hiring 1st shift CNC machinists with 5+ years of experience to work with a well-respected energy company. The pay range is $27.00/hr paying all the way up to $33.00/hr for machinists with more experience. Client pays very generously with competitive pay rates in the market. The position is based out of Erlanger, KY outside of Cincinnati, OH. Ideal candidates would be looking for a long term opportunity and to grow with a company, and willing to be a part of an exciting team. Machinists will set-up and operate CNC equipment including fixtures and tooling, read CNC programs and be familiar with G & M code, make edits to CNC programs, etc.
Shift:
- 6am to 2:30pm Mon – Fri
Job Description:
Set up and operate CNC equipment including fixtures and tooling
Utilization of CNC mills and/or lathes
Inspect parts utilizing micrometers, calipers, gages, etc.
Read and interpret engineered blueprint drawings
Load and unload parts up to 50lbs
Must be comfortable assisting with other duties on the worksite as needed
Requirements:
5 years of experience working with CNC machines
Proficient in operation of CNC mills and/or lathes
Proficient in operation of manual mills and/or lathes
Ability to perform machine set ups and/or tooling changes
Ability to modify programs including G&M, conversational, Mazatrol, etc.
Proficient in reading blueprints
Possess solid problem-solving abilities
Must be able to use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gages)
Compensation:
$27-33/hour dependent on experience
