In this role, you will work closely with the business overseeing all People and Organization (P&O) activities such as recruitment, learning and development, internal and external communication, compensation and benefits, compliance with legal regulations in the countries, as well as promoting Siemens values and culture.

Our headquarters is located in Espoo, and we offer flexible work arrangements, both in the office and remotely.

Main responsibilities

  • P&O activities

  • Provide basic human resources services and operational support to the organization

  • Implementation of P&O policies and guidelines as well as changes and updates and applies these to local regulations

  • Partner up successfully with global and local P&O teams to drive timely, creative, and effective consultation and solutions with the business

  • Drive the P&O transformation, derive action and lead the change for the own area of responsibility

  • End to end responsibility for the recruiting process and execution of Talent Acquisition (TA) strategy

  • Support of placements / staffing of defined positions within the country according to business strategy (business ramp-ups)

  • Responsible for relations with relevant stakeholders (e.g. universities, employer associations, authorities etc.

  • Coach and enable managers to be more effective leaders

  • Drive discussions related to workforce and organizational design changes and provide recommendations

  • Identify and validate talents and deploy talent development programs to guarantee sustainable talent pipeline meeting current and future business demands

  • Assisting line managers to address specific people topics by advising on options (in context of Siemens policy and local labor law), assessing risk and acting as consultant to help managers decide on best course of action

To Succeed In This Role You Are/have

  • A relevant higher education degree and experience in HR tasks, especially in employment matters, payroll administration, local agreements, familiarity with HR information systems, and understanding of Finnish labor legislation and HR processes.

  • Knowledge of multiple human resources disciplines including business partnering, strategy, compensation & benefits, and management, performance management, and management consultation

  • Talent Acquisition experience gained from an in-house or consultancy environment

  • Proactive recruiter, able to 'hunt' for passive candidates web 2.0 skills including social media, sourcing channels

  • Experience in working in an international environment or for an international (global) organization is a plus as is working in virtual teams

  • The ability to be flexible, self-directed, motivated and able to interact with employees at all levels

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • Strong oral and written communication skills in Finnish and in English are a must, knowledge of languages used in the Baltics and Nordics are considered as a plus
