Mechanical Technician

$33 / HR | Etna, OH

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technicians to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn!

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment, including lubrication, cleaning, and inspection.

  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to identify and resolve issues.

  • Repair or replace defective parts and components to restore equipment to working order.

  • Calibrate equipment and machinery to ensure accurate operation with safety regulations.

  • Document maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and parts usage.

  • Participate in training programs to stay updated on new technologies and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in industrial maintenance preferred.

  • Proven experience as an industrial maintenance technician, automotive mechanic, field service technician, etc.

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

  • Proficiency in reading technical manuals, diagrams, and blueprints.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency maintenance requests.

  • Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, and climbing.
