We are seeking an experienced Senior .NET Software Engineer to join our team! This position will be focused on new development and upgrades of legacy applications for external clients. This Software Engineer will be joining a professional services team which values collaboration and communication, pays attention to detail, and has a consultative mindset.

Responsibilities:

  • Migration and upgrade of legacy .NET framework application
  • Develop web applications
  • Architect n-Tier applications and solutions while considering maintainability, reliability, performance, scalability, and security
  • Create and maintain internal documentation for the purpose and structure of the systems they\'re working on

{=html} <!-- --> - Participate in client meetings and answer client questions on software functionality and design tradeoffs - Design and improve database schemas - Tune Microsoft SQL Server database queries - Implement APIs - Design user interfaces using responsive design - Implement automated tests and debug problems - Responsible for the deployment of new product releases - Work with the team to translate business and product requirements into estimates and detailed technical specifications, architectures, and extensible code - Be an advocate for best practices, reliable, scalable, and performant code

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of professional web application development experience
  • 5+ years of experience with the following technologies - C#, .NET, SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS
  • Experience with NET with .NET Framework and ASP.NET Core with .NET 8
  • Experience with deploying to cloud environments like AWS
  • Experience with GitHub
  • Familiarity with Atlassian (JIRA, Confluence)
  • Ability to analyze, estimate, and clarify requirements with Business Analyst(s)
  • Experience with the Agile process and Scrum framework
  • Strong prioritization and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to articulate complex technical ideas to non-technical people, therefore, strong written and oral communication skills a must
  • Able to work both autonomously and collaboratively as part of a larger team

Additional Skills / Experience Preferred:

  • Microsoft Power BI experience is desirable
  • Cloud experience with Azure is desirable
  • Able to multi-task and coordinate work for multiple projects at the same time
  • Experience creating guidance, documentation, tools, and samples for engineers to utilize to accelerate / automate tasks

Details:\ \ Job Type: Full Time\ Salary: \$130,000.00 - \$145,000.00 per year
