Job Description
The Buyer will optimize and maintain the flow of demand, purchasing, transport and delivery of orders for production and repairs.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Manage procurement of consumables (non BOM items)
Manage procurement of chemicals and wires
Support data analysis and reporting activities for QRQC as needed
Collaborate on-time-delivery performance with suppliers
Prepare and send open PO's and forecast reports to suppliers.
Collaborate with customs broker to ensure inbound traffic delivery
Contact vendors to resolve receiving discrepancies
Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Required Experience and Education:
One year in Supply Chain or buyer position
Microsoft Excel: Basic formulas, conditional formatting
High School Diploma
Preferred Experience, Skills and Certifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
5+ years of experience in manufacturing or distribution
Possess high degree of capability using the MS Suite of Products
Lean/Six Sigma certification
Aviation Industry Experience
ERP system experience
Candidate must be a quick learner and able to work in a fast paced, results oriented organization where
leadership, teamwork and commitment to execution are essential and embraced.
Salary Range: USD 67,740 - 70,140
