Description
We are offering a role for an Entry Level Accountant in the IT Software industry, located in Exton, Pennsylvania. This role primarily involves assisting with the order entry of invoices, generating reports, and taking on analytical projects. It provides an employment opportunity for those who are eager to develop and grow in an accountant role.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with the accurate and efficient entry of invoices
• Generate reports using QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
• Undertake analytical projects to support financial decisions
• Act as an active participant in the accounting team, contributing to a positive work environment
• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and Enterprise Resource Planning tools effectively
• Support other accounting functions as needed, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Leverage skills in Acomba and Cl Programming for specific accounting tasks
• Ensure all accounting tasks are performed in compliance with industry standards
• Proactively seek opportunities for development to enhance accounting skills
• Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with Acomba accounting software
• Knowledge of Cl Programming
• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Ability to work with IBM AS/400 system
• Experience with About Time software
• Understanding of basic Accounting Functions
• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP)
• Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Ability to handle Check Processing tasks efficiently
• Entry-level experience in an IT software environment, ideally in an accounting role
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• High level of integrity and dependability.
