Associate Technical Lead, Automated Financial Systems, Exton PA. Hybrid position. Lead and mentor a small team of software developers, as well as interact with business, technical, testing and project management internal teams. This role involves participation in user's functional requirement studies and collaboration with other teams to create quicker issue resolution to achieve high customer satisfaction. The Associate Technical Lead takes guidance from architecture and other senior development staff, ensuring quality of work through design and code review process. He/she assists with client implementations, identifies changes, corrections and enhancements to production application or customized programs. The essential functions of the position include experience with • Manage day to day client or base product development by assigning work to developers • Review requirements for accuracy and feasibility • Identify gaps in requirements or framework that may be needed to satisfy client needs • Mentors' developers, performs code reviews, design reviews to ensure quality of product • Communicates up (escalates) to the manager with problems or issues needing resolution or assistance, project status, employee concerns etc. Communicates down to his/her team with information pertaining to process, procedures, project/task deliverables • Coordinates with other groups to remove hurdles for developers • Interacts with client to provide necessary support during technical analysis, requirements gathering, interface designing, prototyping, implementation, and postproduction support • Leads in resolving production issue The position requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related field as well as five years technical experience in JAVA software engineering.
