Collins Aerospace is looking for a Logistics Technician in Materials Planning and SIOP to join our team in Fairfield, CA! You will work under direct supervision and oversee tasks in Materials Planning and Inventory Management. You will implement standard procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and any additional tasks that business needs require.
What You Will Do
Transacts Inventory movements and kits Work Orders for delivery to production cells onsite.
Safely transport dangerous goods materials within site.
Manage part materials inventory. Cycle counting.
Conduct inventory movements within SAP when requested by Program Management and/or Planning Dept.
Use Inventory Management software effectively. SAP
Maintain and organize warehouse and the inventory areas; 5S.
Safely operate forklift if required.
Ensure that items are properly packed and labeled.
Process outgoing part kits efficiently and accurately.
Processes internal customer returns back to inventory.
Assist in the shipping and receiving area based on business needs.
Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
High degree of initiative, personal responsibility and ability to plan and be well organized
Ability to establish effective working relationships Good verbal and written communication skills
All other duties as required.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) access.

The salary range for this role is 40,000 USD - 74,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
