Description We are looking for a Cloud Engineer in the manufacturing industry. The role is based in FAIRFIELD, New Jersey, United States, offering an exciting opportunity. As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing new integration architecture patterns, working with cross-functional teams, and improving current system integrations.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop new integration architecture patterns, including synchronous and asynchronous communication, APIs, and event/message-based integration using modern integration technologies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the requirements for integration, and design and develop the integrations accordingly.

• Develop and report on integration development plans and strategies.

• Document technical requirements in the interface context.

• Build integration as a framework and reusable assets for broader usage.

• Check and correct conflicts in data configurations and overlaps.

• Analyze and improve current system integrations and migration strategies.

• Identify, debug, and advise on system errors or architecture issues.

• Implement processes and logic to extract, transform, and distribute data across one or more data stores from a variety of sources.

• Optimize data integration platform to provide optimal performance under increasing data volumes.

• Ensure high quality and optimum performance of data integration systems to meet business solutions. Requirements • Must have a solid understanding of cloud computing and technology systems, as well as experience designing and transferring applications to the cloud.

• Proficient in Microsoft Azure, including Azure API Management and Azure Logic Apps.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, DB2, and Oracle.

• Demonstrated ability to solve complex software development/design issues using clean, coherent code following established coding standards.

• Ability to work collaboratively with a team, as well as effectively communicate with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

• Proven experience in working on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot operational issues.

• Must be detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

• Relevant professional certification in Cloud Engineering or related field is desirable.
