Job Description:

Come join our team at South University Clinic in Fargo! This growing practice is an exciting opportunity that includes a newly added nail care program, as well as a new, experienced nurse practitioner working along side our two seasoned podiatry surgeons. This LPN, Medical Assistant, or Athletic Trainer works 32 hours weekly. No weekend, holiday, or on-call rotations are required. Your workday may start as early as 7:30 am and may go as late as 5:00 pm, depending on patient appointments.LPN/Medical Assistant ($19.55 hourly, or more with experience):Assists RN, Physician and other providers in the provision of direct patient care in the ambulatory setting to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of Essentia Health. Will perform and/or assist with identified procedures for which competencies have been demonstrated (examples being nail care, wound care, and fitting of durable medical equipment). Cares for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly.Athletic Trainer ($22.77, or more with experience):The Athletic Trainer provides services to patients ranging from adolescents to geriatrics in an ambulatory setting to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of Essentia Health. Provides patient care activities under the direct supervision of a physician, including evaluation and assessment, education, treatment and consultation services and related patient care services. Will perform identified procedures for which competencies have been demonstrated.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

  • LPN: ND LPN License required upon hire, MN LPN License required within 3 months of hire.

  • Medical Assistant: current registration or certification as a Medical Assistant OR verifiable completion of a Medical Assistant Program and must become certified within one year of date of hire. Must pass certification within two attempts.

  • Medical Assistant: must be registered as a Medication Assistant III through the North Dakota Board of Nursing within 3 months from date of employment.

  • LPN and CMA: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire.

  • Athletic Trainer: NATA board certification (BOC) and registered by the Board of Medical Practice per state guidelines. CPR certification is also required.

Shift Rotation: Day Rotation (United States of America)

Shift Start/End: 7:30a - 8:00a/4:30p - 5:00p

Hours Per Pay Period: 64

Compensation Range: $22.77 - $34.15 / hour
