Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will assist in the repair and maintenance of various machinery and equipment, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently. Job Duties Routine Maintenance: Perform basic routine maintenance on plant equipment and apply basic preventative techniques to keep operations running smoothly. Diagnose & Repair: Identify and repair breakdowns in machinery, utility services, and building structures, minimizing downtime. Tool & Parts Management: Specify necessary tools, parts, and surplus stock to support efficient operations. Technical Repairs: Use hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments to repair and maintain machinery, engines, motors, conveyor systems, and other equipment according to diagrams, blueprints, and manuals. Documentation: Accurately complete all necessary documents related to maintenance activities. Workplace Standards: Maintain cleanliness of the work area in line with 5S standards and follow all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures. Additional Tasks: Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Experience and Education Experience: 2 years of experience in a maintenance role, including experience driving powered industrial equipment. Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Certification in powered industrial equipment is preferred but not required.
Competencies/ Skills Ability to interpret work instructions and follow written/verbal directions. Basic verbal and written communication skills. Manual dexterity and physical stamina. Ability to lift and move heavy objects. Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn.
