If you have:
Ability to understand instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
Problem solving shills involving several concrete variables in or from standardized situations
Ability to perform basic functions of arithmetic: add, subtract, multiply and divide units of measure
Ability to perform reading, writing and speaking at a basic level
Demonstrate good oral and written communication skills
Must be able to use a micrometer, other measuring tolls, have the ability to monitor quality, work with close tolerances
Understanding drill sizes is essential
A typical day may look like this:
Setup and run the machine with maximum efficiency and productivity
Operate machine using measuring tools
Understanding of work tolerances
Monitoring work quality
Keep tooling and work organized
Reading and signing of paperwork
Other important information:
100% standing/sitting (employees preference)
5 - 10% shifting or bending
Lifting up to 25lbs.
