Provide Friendly and attentive customer service as you oversee the day to day operations of the department and supervise the department tam to achieve sales goals, gross profit and sharing goals. You will handle ordering, receiving, storage and merchandising of the product. Ensure proper shelf and sales floor conditions and stock levels, selection, training, development and scheduling of grocery associates. Ideally you will have previous related retail experience. You will need to be friendly and courteous in order to provide excellent customer service, as well as the ability to read, write and perform basic math functions. Excellent organization prioritization skills, basic computer skills and or the ability to learn to operate a cash register, scanner, telephone system and scale. The ability to handle money and other forms of payment are also important. Department Managers will need to be available nights weekends and holidays.
