As a Marketing Communications Intern for a global manufacturing company, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our digital presence and supporting our team with various marketing activities. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks, including social media management, email coordination, website updates, and general administrative support. This is an in-person position located in our corporate headquarters in Ferndale, WA.

Who You Are:

• Knowledgeable of basic digital marketing principles.
• A clear and concise communicator with a strong attention to detail.
• A proficient computer user who is experienced with Microsoft Office and able to learn new programs.
• Able to build relationships within all levels of a diverse organization.
• Customer focused and able to deliver excellent customer service to both customers and colleagues.
• Comfortable with office procedures and general office equipment.
• Able to organize and manage multiple tasks.
• Able to handle confidential and sensitive information.

What You'll Do:

• Assist with social media to include management of social media calendar, monitoring, and post scheduling.
• Assist with monitoring two marketing email inboxes forwarding relevant questions and updating customer database as appropriate.
• Assist in updating the company website as needed.
• Assist with projects or other MarCom administrative duties as needed.
• Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local laws related to job duties.

What You Should Have:

Education

• Required: High school diploma and currently enrolled in a secondary level or degree program.

Experience

• Some experience working on a team and helping others. Prior work experience in an office is preferred.

Compensation:

Targeted hiring range: $18.00 -- 20.00 per hour.

Hiring rate will depend on qualifications and experience.

Samson has established wage scales for all of our positions, which are based on a minimum and maximum.
