Shift Options

• 2nd Shift | Monday - Friday | 2:45 PM - 11:15 PM | $25 per hour
• 3rd Shift | Sunday - Thursday | 10:45 PM - 7:15 AM | $26 per hour

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in chemistry or a related science with a minor in chemistry
• 1+ years of experience in the quality control environment within a GMP-regulated facility
• Experience with IR, UV/VIS, HPLC, and GC instruments
• The ability to perform repetitive movements throughout the shift, lift 45 pounds, and stand for up to 4 hours at a time
• Steel-toe leather boots
• Must be willing to travel for training

Quality Lab Technician Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the quality manager/supervisor, plant management, production team, and quality assurance personnel at other sites.
• Ensure products are produced according to the Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Provide daily production support.
• Accurately calculate adjustments to products.
• Communicate with the R&D for process improvements.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation.
• Perform audits and ATP testing.
• Prepares customer Certificates of Analysis (COAs).
• Review and file raw material Certificates of Analysis and laboratory work instructions.
• Trains and assists plant personnel on procedures, product analysis, and instrumentation use and maintenance.
• Utilize SPC methods in data collection, Root Cause Analysis, Corrective/Preventive Action effectiveness, and Cost saving/Avoidance Analysis.
• Ability to change shifts to cover vacation and needs of the business.
