Shift Options
- 2nd Shift | Monday - Friday | 2:45 PM - 11:15 PM | $25 per hour
- 3rd Shift | Sunday - Thursday | 10:45 PM - 7:15 AM | $26 per hour
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in chemistry or a related science with a minor in chemistry
- 1+ years of experience in the quality control environment within a GMP-regulated facility
- Experience with IR, UV/VIS, HPLC, and GC instruments
- The ability to perform repetitive movements throughout the shift, lift 45 pounds, and stand for up to 4 hours at a time
- Steel-toe leather boots
- Must be willing to travel for training
Quality Lab Technician Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the quality manager/supervisor, plant management, production team, and quality assurance personnel at other sites.
- Ensure products are produced according to the Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Provide daily production support.
- Accurately calculate adjustments to products.
- Communicate with the R&D for process improvements.
- Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation.
- Perform audits and ATP testing.
- Prepares customer Certificates of Analysis (COAs).
- Review and file raw material Certificates of Analysis and laboratory work instructions.
- Trains and assists plant personnel on procedures, product analysis, and instrumentation use and maintenance.
- Utilize SPC methods in data collection, Root Cause Analysis, Corrective/Preventive Action effectiveness, and Cost saving/Avoidance Analysis.
- Ability to change shifts to cover vacation and needs of the business.
