Viability Clubhouse Supervisor in Florence, Massachusetts

$500 sign on bonus ($250 at the completion of first week of training and $250 after successfully completion of first 90 days)

Position: Clubhouse Supervisor

Location: Florence, MA

Rate of Pay: $26.90 Per hour

Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30am-4:30pm rotating/occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays required

Summary:

  • The Clubhouse Supervisor is responsible for the development and effective operation of specific functions of the clubhouse. The supervisor assures that all objectives are met and works with the Director to assure that operations are managed within budgetary limits. The Clubhouse Supervisor is responsible for the management and supervision of assigned staff for the program. In addition, the supervisor participates in management tasks in the running of the office and provides back-up support in other programs. The supervisor implements the organization’s mission and values by supporting individuals to make positive changes in their lives. This role relies on previous work experience and works under limited supervision to prioritize work assignments, implement programs related to curriculum development, member evaluation, and training and support to members, and advises others in the organization within area(s) of expertise. Fosters positive relationships with all stakeholders through information, education, and advocacy.

    Requirements:

  • Associate’s plus 4-5 years of related experience with at least 1 in a supervisory role or High school diploma, GED or HiSet required with a minimum of five years’ experience and at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

  • Experience working in mental health field preferred; recovery and psychiatric rehabilitation preferred

  • Demonstrated proficiency in financial management and the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and internet.

  • Organizational skills, creative abilities, and excellent written and oral communication are a must.

  • Exercises sound judgment in problem solving, prioritization and multitasking.

  • Development of strong relationships with all key stakeholders (members, member families, peers, subordinates, superiors, funding sources, employers, communities, etc.)

  • Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record and a reliable vehicle

  • Must be able to travel within the region to access residential settings, employers, offices, and community organizations
