Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are looking to hire a maintenance technician who will be responsible for supporting production on the 2nd shift. The technician will be maintaining all machinery, equipment, building, and grounds, ensuring that all equipment complies with OSHA standards.
Responsibilities
Install and maintain equipment such as presses, CNCs, conveyors, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, air compressors, welders, induction heat systems, ABB robotic systems, water treatment equipment, and controls, and plumbing and piping.
Maintain inventory and parts.
Perform preventive maintenance.
Troubleshoot electrical components and control circuits.
Utilize PLC experience (Allen-Bradley is a plus).
Read, write, and perform math skills similar to those learned in High School.
Rig heavy equipment.
Essential Skills
4+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
Excellent verbal and written skills.
Basic understanding of electrical components.
Ability to work independently and autonomously.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Knowledge and experience in rigging heavy equipment is beneficial.
PLC experience (Allen-Bradley is a plus).
High School level reading, writing, and math skills.

Work Environment
The work environment is industrial, with a focus on riding and sport horse segments. The production floor is hot and humid. The company has been around for almost 200 years and offers a stable environment with great leadership, a team-oriented culture, competitive wages, good benefits, and potential advancement opportunities. The facility runs 5 lines, each consisting of a robot that manufactures horse shoes, with 1 operator, 1 supervisor, and 2 leads per line. The maintenance department includes 1 supervisor, 1 lead, and 1 facilities manager, totaling 7 people. Most of the work (90%) will be in the production area, with 50% being preventative maintenance and 50% reactive maintenance.

This is a Permanent position based out of Forest Lake, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $65000.00/yr.

Matching 401K up to 5%
50-75% paid medical benefits depending on the option chosen by the employee.
