JOB REQUIREMENTS: 3rd Shift Maintenance Mechanic LinkedIn Twitter Email Message Share Manufacturing and Operations Fort Atkinson, WI * ID: 3853A * Full-Time/Regular Spacesaver Corporation is looking for a 3rd shift Maintenance Mechanic II to join our team! This role will work 8:00pm to 6:00am and is eligible for our \$3.00 shift premium. As a Maintenance Mechanic at Spacesaver you will be responsible for: * Communicate with a positive demeanor to all Spacesaver team members. * Perform maintenance-related activities of equipment, buildings, and grounds safely and proficiently. * Diagnose and repair complex equipment breakdowns. When needed, effectively communicate issues with OEM vendors and outside resources for rapid identification and closure of issues. * Perform Standard Work by following Work/Operator Instructions/Training * Suggest changes to and perform modifications of existing Spacesaver equipment and/or designs to improve safety, quality, delivery and productivity. * Perform safe and effective operation of lathes, vertical mills, pipe threaders, conduit benders, hydraulic presses, pneumatic and electric hand tools, material handling equipment, welders, plasma arc & cutting torches. Required Skills QUALIFICATIONS: Technical or Associate\'s Degree or a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in maintaining industrial equipment (robotics, controls, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical) Experience on equipment and automation consistent with a sheet metal fabrication, and painting operation preferred Strong mechanical aptitude, knowledge of codes and regulations as they apply to an industrial maintenance role Ability to interpret drawings, schematics and machine specifications Excellent organizational and communication skills, good attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a team environment Spacesaver is an Equal Opportunity Employer of Protected Veterans and Individuals with Disabilities.
