MAG Cloud Systems Administrator III (CISSP Required) — Fort Belvoir, VA in Fort Belvoir, Virginia
Position Summary
We are seeking ahighlyskilledand passionateCloud Systems Administratorto serveonaU.S. Army SETA contractat Fort Belvoir.As the senior and sole cloud systems administrator on the program, thisposition requiresa unique self-starter who will applyoriginality,innovation, and independenceinproviding maximum value to the organization.Application to this position includes pre-hire assessments in general cognition, technical aptitude, communication, and soft skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Identify, design, and implement scalable cloud solutions to support organizational requirements
Manage andoptimizecloud-based infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage solutions, and networking components
Implement andmaintainsecurity and compliance controls for cloud environments
Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot cloud system performance
Develop and execute automation processes to streamline cloud infrastructure management
Implement disaster recovery and business continuity strategies for cloud systems
Oversee cloud resource provisioning, management, and decommissioning, including user access and permissions
Evaluate, integrate, andoptimizenew cloud technologies and services
Collaborate with IT and non-IT personnel to ensure cloud solutions meet organizational needs
Establish and manage metrics to assess effectiveness and cost-efficiency of cloud solutions
Conduct configuration and change management of cloud services
Create andmaintaindocumentation for cloud systems and processes
Advisecustomer and company leadership on cloud architecture best practices and make recommendations based on performance and cost analysis
Assistwith company proposal efforts related to cloud services
Requirements
High school degree(Bachelor'spreferred)
Minimum of fouryears'experience performingsystems administration, witha minimum of two years performingcloud systems administration using Microsoft Azure Government
Current CISSP certification(and ability tomaintain)
Current SECRET security clearance (verifiable in DISS)
Exceptional attention to detail
Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills
Current U.S.bluepassport andability to travel (CONUSandOCONUS) up to5%
Adherence to program's teleworking policy of camera on and professional attire (smart casual)whenworking remotely

Salary at MAG Aerospace is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $80500 to $149500 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAG's total compensation package for employees.
