TECHNICA LLC Electronic Technician Maintenance III Lead (UME) in Fort Bliss, Texas
Technica LLC seeks to recruit for the position of Electronic Technician Maintenance III Lead on a Governmentcontract with a place of performance at Fort Bliss, TX. This position is full-time but temporary. Anticipated periodof performance ending 31 January 2025.
Position Responsibilities:
- Assists the Supervisor in managing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of military/commercialcommunications and electronics equipment (COMEL), ranging from Night Vision Devices, CrypticTransfer Units, Optics, Thermal Imaging Systems, Radios and Military Tracking Devices.
- Assign Electronic Technicians work based on priorities provided by the Supervisor.
- Directly responsible for the COMEL shop, equipment designated, and work orders assigned.
- Generate work order statuses and other reports using GCSS-Army.
- Input subordinate technicians' man-hours in GCSS-Army; reviews and monitors employees' man-hourutilization.
- Organizes maintenance workflow efficiency, troubleshooting and repairs.
- Assists enforcing safety and environmental standards in conjunction within its designated maintenanceoperations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have experience using GCSS-Army.
- Must be knowledgeable with AESIP-Army Enterprise Portal.
- Must have at least 5 years of supervisory experience managing Army Maintenance of COMELequipment.
- Must possess an advance level of experience troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing equipment suchas, but not limited to the following: AN/PVS Night Vision Devices, AN/PYQ-10 Cryptic Transfer Units,AN/UDR-13 Radiac Set, RT-153F Receiver Transmitter Radio, M150 Sight Bore Optics, PAS-13CV2,PVS14 Mono Night Vision, VDR2 Radiac set, Blue Force Tracker, Drivers Vision Enhancer (DVE), RadioSet Vehicular (Harris), SINCGAR Radios, Power Supplies, Thermal Imaging Systems and Weapon Sights.
- Knowledge in completing necessary documentation such as the DA Form 2404, 2407, 2407-1, 5988, 5990and other Department of the Army or Department of Defense related forms.
- Must be familiar with the use of military Technical Manuals (TMs).
- Must be a US citizen or permanent resident for more than 3 years for CAC/ NACI eligibility.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 18 years of age
- Valid state driver's license
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks related to the position.
- Background in military communications and electronics equipment to include inspection and repair.
- Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions to include intense heat, heavy wind, blowing sand,heavy rain, and snow and sleet.
- Must be able to stand for a minimum two continuous hours.
- Be able to pick up and move items within a 49-lb restriction.
- Must be able to function with an intermediate level of English oral and written language skills.
- Capable of using and understanding Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Able to work past normal hours as mission dictates
