TECHNICA LLC Electronic Technician Maintenance III (UME) in Fort Bliss, Texas
Technica LLC seeks to recruit for the position of Electronic Technician Maintenance III on a Government contractwith a place of performance at Fort Bliss, TX. This position is full-time but temporary. Anticipated period ofperformance ending 31 January 2025.
Position Responsibilities:
- Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on military and commercial electronics andcommunications equipment.
- Responsible for identifying the necessary materials required to service and/or repair equipment; toincluded recording these requirements on applicable documents.
- Perform routine tasks following detailed instructions such as replacing components, wiring circuits, andtaking test readings using common instruments such as digital multi-meters, signal generators,oscilloscopes, and specialized testing systems.
- Perform bench and onsite maintenance. Apply advanced technical knowledge to solve routine problemsusing technical manuals or similar documents.
- Checks lower-level technicians' work for accuracy.
- Works under close supervision of supervisor or lead.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor or lead.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must possess an advance level of experience troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing equipment suchas, but not limited to the following: AN/PVS Night Vision Devices, AN/PYQ-10 Cryptic Transfer Units,AN/UDR-13 Radiac Set, RT-153F Receiver Transmitter Radio, M150 Sight Bore Optics, PAS-13CV2,PVS14 Mono Night Vision, VDR2 Radiac set, Blue Force Tracker, Drivers Vision Enhancer (DVE), RadioSet Vehicular (Harris), SINCGAR Radios, Power Supplies, Thermal Imaging Systems and WeaponSights.
- Knowledge in completing necessary documentation such as the DA Form 2404, 2407, 2407-1, 5988,5990 and other Department of the Army or Department of Defense related forms.
- Must be proficient with EMS-NG, Army TMs, Federal Logistics Database, the Army Enterprise Portal(AESIP), and other Army logistical programs.
- 18 years of age
- Valid state driver's license
- Must be able to pass pre-employment and background checks related to the position.
- Ability to pass a post offer drug screen clearance.
- Must be a US Citizen or US permanent resident for more than 3 years to obtain NACI and CAC Cardeligibility.
- Able to function with a basic level of English oral and written language skills.
- Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
- Be able to pick up and move items within a 49-lb restriction.
- Must be able to function with an intermediate level of English oral and written language skills.
- Capable of using and understanding Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Able to work past normal hours as mission dictates.
