GAP Solutions Inc Installation Lead - Army Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) Program in Fort Bliss, Texas

Position Objective:

Manage and provide oversight for the Army’s Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) Program at assigned installation as an Installation Lead. Oversees employee and contract performance of Lead Strength and Conditioning Coaches (SCCs), Strength and Conditioning Coaches (SCCs), and Cognitive Performance Specialists (CPSs) at assigned installation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the central POC for H2F performance on the Installation.

  • Provide onsite supervisory functions to Contractor personnel at that location.

  • Coordinate with Lead Strength and Conditioning Coaches (SCCs) regarding work performance on the Installation.

  • Participate in periodic meetings at the installation.

  • Facilitate submission of travel requests and expense reports through the installation GTM to the COR-RA for approval.

  • Conduct contract-related quality assurance and quality control.

  • When needed, serve as Lead SCC.

    Basic Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree from an accredited academic institution

  • Three years of relevant experience managing, staffing, overseeing, and completing similar Government projects

  • Candidates must demonstrate sufficient initiative, interpersonal relationship skills and social sensitivity such that they can relate to a variety of Soldiers from diverse backgrounds

  • Must be physically able to hike in an austere environment and terrain (e.g., rocky, no running water, no shelter, no bathroom, no climate control, inclement weather, loud, smoky, etc.) while carrying their own backpack with necessary supplies on occasion (<20% of the time).

  • Be physically able to lift and manipulate loads and weight plates up to 45 pounds.

  • Possess an understanding of preventative and responsive musculoskeletal care

  • Have the ability to operate a computer utilizing Microsoft applications, such as Word, Excel.

  • Must be able to navigate and operate with unit SharePoint sites.

    Minimum Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be able to pass and maintain Tier 1 clearance

  • Must be a U.S. citizen

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly preferred

  • A passing score from either the Board of Certification by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) or by the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning coaches Association (CSCCA) as Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) is highly preferred

  • Must have the ability to read, write and speak English effectively with Soldiers and H2F staff

  • Possess or be capable of obtaining a current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers

  • Candidate must follow all Government designated work attire standards, social media standards and professional work requirements as stated with the TO
