For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $112,000 - $168,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. We are seeking a talented Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join our global team. This role is instrumental in ensuring the security of our software products. As a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be responsible for both hands-on implementation and strategic coordination of our secure development lifecycle processes. You will act as a cybersecurity expert, guiding the development of new features, validating designs, and supporting product teams with best practices. Your expertise will help us advance our cybersecurity capabilities and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations. What will you do? Execute (30-50%) hands-on with the Team implementing and evaluating software security capabilities and (70-50%) coordinating secure development lifecycle process, priorities, and roadmap for long-term releases. Act as an expert on cybersecurity capability, features, and risks associated with offers within their scope. Specify the development of new cybersecurity features, validate the adequacy of the design/architecture with the specifications. Understand Schneider Electric's SDL, and act in a role of the advisor - define and support execution at the right level for each offer, program, and project. Support product owners in specifying and prioritizing security requirements, defining acceptance criteria and bring expert knowledge of relevant CS standards and regulations. Support product teams with security best practices for design, implementation, automation, testing and tool selection. Contribute to defining the cybersecurity verification and validation plan, and ensuring its execution. Be capable of evaluating threats and vulnerabilities on offers within their scope. Lead and coordinate cybersecurity-related initiates within the line of business. Support development of cybersecurity-specific offers and capabilities. Advance process, capacity, and capability by bringing innovative ideas, organizing proof of concept activity, and by finding more efficient and effective ways of operating. Understand and communicate the cybersecurity status for offers within their scope. Support site, team, and product cybersecurity certifications. Form a network of experts inside and outside the line of business to engage as necessary on technical reviews, risk management and customer topics. Act as expert facilitator and resource on key practices such as secure design, threat modeling, and vulnerability management. Assist with security incident response and operations on an s-needed basis. 5+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, preferably in cloud native technologies. Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Electrical, Computer Science, or related discipline. Proven expertise in C# programming. Experience in projects where SDL practices have been applied. Experience leading working groups and educating teams. Demonstrated competence in risk-based decision making and risk management. Proficiency at communicating appropriately to different groups including customers and business stakeholders. Technical background to understand desktop, mobile, and cloud architecture, communication protocols, and networking equipment. Available to take meetings outside of local business hours to meet with global team.

Highly Desired Cybersecurity certifications (CSSLP, OSCP, Security+, AZ-500, SC-100, GCSA...) Experience in SOC-2 / ISO 27001 / IEC-623433-4-X audits Experience with CI/CD and/or DevSecOps Able to operate cybersecurity-related tools Experience with Azure or other industry leading cloud infrastructure providers.
