Primary Responsibilities In the role of Senior Water Resources Engineer, we'll count on you to: Plan, direct and monitor all aspects of large multidiscipline projects or medium-sized projects with high degree of technical complexity. Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently. Lead technical teams in developing water resources analyses Establish client relations and be involved with marketing, contractual, project meetings. Manage client relationships and contracts. Conduct work sessions at project sites in conjunction with Project Managers, appropriate technical professionals and other disciplines. Coordinate staffing and workload through entire project development to complete documents on schedule. Work with the Business/Accounting Manager, Project Controller or Company Controller and Department Manager or Managing Principal for project reviews. Implement QA/QC procedures. Supervise large project staffs and act as mentor for less-experienced Project Managers. Maintain professional engineering registration. Perform other duties as needed. Preferred Qualifications Experience leading technical staff on interdisciplinary projects. Demonstrated strategic planning skills. Good leadership, planning and mentoring skills. Master's degree in Engineering or a related field MS Project Hydraulic Modeling including HEC-RAS 2D MS Office Minimum of 5 years of project management experience. #LI-LA1

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field A minimum of 10 years Water Resources experience Professional Engineer (PE) license HEC-1, HEC-RAS, GEORAS, Storm CAD, Haested Methods Experience in water resources planning, hydrology/hydraulics and drainage/flood control design Familiarity with DOT drainage design criteria Experience in FEMA studies a plus Excellent writing and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a project team An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
