HRC FIRE, INC.HRC-ATB LIBBYis currently seeking new hires for the2025 fire season. We\'re located at the Fort Huachuca Libby Army Airfield. Our primary Mission is to Load fixed wing aircraft with Fire retardant to support Ground operations during wildland fires. Other opportunities include Travel assignments to wildland fire incidents as a MRB ( Mobile Retardant Base) crew member, For helicopter retardant missions. (Additional Training is Required). Assisting in other tanker bases throughout the company. As well as MRB VLAT ( Mobile Retardant Base Very Large Air Tanker) staffing. No experience is necessary, on job training will Be provided. Current available positions:Call when needed ( CWN ). Position IsTemporary / seasonal.

**ATTENTION:This Job is located on a U.S. military base. Applicants must be able to be granted access on to the base in order to be Employed with HRC FIRE, INC.**

QUAILIFCATIONS

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma / GED / College Degree +
  • Federal / State / Contractor Fire Service +

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

  • English (Spoken and written, clear and concise per Federal and State Fire Safety Regulations)
  • Present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public in a professional manner.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

  • Basic Computer skills required
  • Must be able to read, respond and attach documents via Email.
  • Digital Time System and Employee Payroll System
  • Internet Connectivity and Website Navigation

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. LIFTING/BENDING/MOVING:

  • Lift 50lbs + Frequently
  • Walk distances greater than 1 mile daily for heat acclimatization program
  • Standing for extended periods of time
  • Sedentary for extended periods of time
  • Climb ladders of 6 and greater heights
  • Stoop / Kneel / Crouch for extended periods of time
  • Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus with natural eyesight or corrective lenses.

CWN ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND EXPECTATIONS:

  • Complete all required on-line and on the job (OJT) training per contract specifications. Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance is an essential function of the job
  • Assist in the loading/unloading of retardant/water into aircraft and ground vehicles.
  • Help mix and test all fire retardants through Perimeter Solutions liquid and powder mix systems under managements direction.
  • Ensure daily work functions are compliant with OSHA & CAL OSHA requirements, and any additional Agency specific regulations.
  • Daily: Participate in base heat acclimatization program to prepare for summer temperatures.
  • Daily: Assist with multiple housekeeping tasks, regular base maintenance, equipment maintenance, and base inspections.
