Responsibilities

As the Manager of Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ), you will play a pivotal role in championing our commitment to safety, environmental stewardship, and quality assurance. You will oversee all aspects of HSEQ management, developing and implementing strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, mitigate risks, and drive continuous improvement across our operations.

  • Monitors regulatory changes that impact all SIL vesels.

  • Has the authority and responsibility to ensure that safety, quality, and environmental policies are followed, objectives are pursued, and that the SQMS is maintained to the standards of ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001: 2004, and the ISM Code.

  • Maintains the SQMS and feedback distribution, including:

  • Processing SQMS nonconformity reports

  • Preparing and distributing Safety Alerts

  • Preparing and distributing fleet near-miss summaries.

  • Coordinating management system audits

  • Travel as needed to visit fleet vessels.

  • Reviews and approves specific procedures and is responsible for its implementation.

  • Perform other tasks, duties, and responsibilities as may be required or directed.

The essential functions of this role include:

  • working in a smoke free environment

  • wearing steel toe shoes

  • working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
