Insight Global Senior Java Engineer in Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Job Description
A client in the financial services technology industry is seeking a Senior Java Engineer to join its Enterprise Identity organization. This Engineer will partake in software design reviews, create software flow and sequence diagrams, conduct code reviews, and aid in mentorship of 5 or 6 junior engineers as well as other engineers as needed. The ideal candidate is someone who can get ramped up very quickly with little hand holding, and knows what questions to ask to get answers. They should have experience creating POC's, researching new best software decisions and making recommendations on best practices and how to move forward. This is Engineering at an advanced level and they must have expertise in Java, Spring boot, Spring core, Spring data, microservices, design patterns, architectural design principals such as SOLID, and relational and NoSQL databases. They should have a general understanding of authorizations and JWT tokens. This is a hybrid onsite position 3 days weekly, and the pay is $70-85/hr depending on experience.

Skills and Requirements
10+ years' experience as a Senior Engineer
Expertise around Java 8, 11 and more recent versions, core Java
Strong experience building microservices in Spring
Understanding of reactive programming (i.e. with Vert.x)
Strong experience with architectural design principals
Understanding of authorizations and JWT
Experience leading code reviews, paired programming, mentorship
Experience creating software flow and sequence diagrams
Strong technical communication skills null
