Technical Recruiter (Apprenticeship Training)

Octagon Talent Solutions is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Recruiter to join our dynamic team. This position offers an apprenticeship training program designed to develop your recruiting expertise while leveraging your technical knowledge and customer service experience. As a Technical Recruiter, you will play a crucial role in identifying and engaging top technical talent, ensuring a seamless and efficient recruitment process.

Key Responsibilities

• Talent Acquisition

  • Source, screen, and evaluate candidates for various technical positions.
  • Use advanced sourcing techniques and tools to identify potential candidates on job boards, social media, and other platforms.

• Client Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and clients to understand their staffing needs and provide consultative recruiting solutions.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience through timely communication and exceptional customer service.

• Recruitment Process Management

  • Coordinate and manage the recruitment process from initial contact to offer stage, including scheduling interviews, conducting assessments, and providing feedback.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our applicant tracking system.

• Project Management

  • Handle multiple recruitment projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and high-quality candidates are presented to clients.
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

• Communication

  • Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with candidates and clients.
  • Prepare and deliver clear, concise reports and presentations related to recruitment activities.

Qualifications:

• Technical Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of technical roles and terminology, with the ability to assess candidate qualifications for various technical positions.

• Customer Service Experience

  • Proven experience in customer service or client-facing roles, demonstrating the ability to build and maintain relationships.

• Multitasking Skills

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, with a keen eye for detail and organizational skills.

• Communication Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and persuasively.

• Team Player

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated and able to work independently when needed.
