Aerotek Production Manager in Fort Myers, Florida
Working with a manufacturing and distribution company in the Fort Myers area seeking a qualified Production Manager!
Pay is negotiable based on experience, access to full-time benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401k, etc.)
Job Description:
· Follows overall production schedules to manage staffing and establish daily and shift production goals. Monitors shift production metrics to identify and resolve issues and implement process improvements.
· Coordinates maintenance, turnarounds, and downtime for efficiency and speed.
· Ensures that staff training processes, equipment, gear, and tool requirements are fulfilled to comply with health and safety regulations.
· Coaches teams in best practices to provide a safe and efficient work environment and resolve escalated issues and problems.
· Planning and executing a customer driven production schedule.
· Supervise and lead a team of production staff to meet daily, weekly, and monthly production goals.
· Maintain high product quality standards and implement quality control processes to ensure products meet specifications.
· Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancement.
· Hire, train and develop employees.
· Ensure a safe working environment, compliance with safety protocols, and provide ongoing safety training for staff.
· Develop and manage the production budget, monitoring expenses and finding cost-effective solutions.
