About the Role:

As a CBRE Assistant Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for a combination of advanced facilities work in regulated spaces.

This job is a part of the Facilities Management functional area which focuses on all aspects of the operations of a set of assets, providing support to the Facility Manager regarding all repairs and asset management plans.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage the operations, maintenance, and vendor management standards of a contract to assure they are met timely in a cost effective, safe, and efficient manner.

  • Collaborate in cooperation with the Regional Sr Facilities Manager and/or Facilities Manager, subcontractors, and CBRE team to ensure account obligations are met in accordance with approved operating guidelines and budget.

  • Communicate operating philosophy, objectives, and expectations to build the site team.

  • Identify opportunities for improvement and best practice across the account.

  • Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to identify and roll-out project support.

  • Conducts periodic internal review to ensure that compliance procedures are followed.

  • Participate in project groups, presentations and meetings as required.

  • Support the Facilities Manager and the site team on all repairs and asset management plans.

  • Point of contact for all front-line clients on various requests.

  • Comply with all company policies, procedures and standards.

What You’ll Need:

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

Supervisory background along with good customer service experience.

Excellent time management skills; Able to organize and work independently.

Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve complex problems.

Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment.

In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate complicated figures such as percentages, fractions, and other business-related calculations. working from the global/local concept toolbox.
