Work at a contract research organization. The Senior Data Manager leads data management activities at a contract research organization. The job duties include: Lead multiple Data Management (DM) projects, overseeing the development and review of project timelines and ensuring that study deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to prescribed timelines. Maintain and track electronic data capture (EDC) system user management across allocated clinical trials. Develop or review Data Transfer Agreement(s) (DTAs). Assist management team to improve and update some relevant DM SOPs and summarize the differences between different EDC systems; contribute to the development of Data Management processes and the creation of job aids. Participate in the review of clinical research documents (e.g., protocols, Case Report Forms (CRF), reports, and statistical analysis)
May work from the Fort Washington, PA, office location or may telecommute/work from a home location in the U.S.
The Senior Data Manager position requires a Master's degree in Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Science, Biochemistry, or closely related field, and a minimum of 24 months of prior work experience managing, analyzing, or working with clinical data in clinical trials or studies as a data manager, data analyst, and/or data coordinator. A Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Science, Biochemistry, or closely related field, and a minimum of 60 months of prior work experience managing, analyzing, or working with clinical data in clinical trials or studies as a data manager, data analyst, and/or data coordinator is acceptable. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.
