Job Description:
Seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to serve in our family practice at our Fosston Clinic. This nurse works Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm. No holiday or on-call rotations are required, but there is a weekend rotation. The LPN may assist with basic medical procedures and tests, such as collecting blood or urine samples, dressing wounds, and inserting catheters under the supervision of an RN or physician. Assists RN, Physician and other providers and provides direct patient care in the ambulatory and/or home care setting to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of Essentia Health. Will perform identified procedures for which competencies have been demonstrated. Cares for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted on age-related category.
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Minnesota upon hire.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certified within 3 months of hire.

Shift Start/End: 8:30 am/5:00 pm
Hours Per Pay Period: 72
Compensation Range: $19.55 - $29.32 / hour
