Job Title: CNC Mill Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC mills, read blueprints, and perform quality inspections on parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges. The role involves utilizing CAD and CAM programming (Siemens NX) and handling 2-7 set-ups daily, working primarily with aluminum and machining steels. This position focuses on custom machining with very few repeat jobs.

Shift and Pay
2nd shift 5pm-1:30am
Monday-Friday
$20-30/hr based on experience and tenure
Plus a 10% shift differential
Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC mills
Read and interpret blueprints
Perform quality inspections on parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
Utilize CAD and CAM programming (Siemens NX)
Manage 2-7 set-ups per day
Work with materials such as aluminum and machining steels
Handle custom machining tasks with minimal repeat jobs
Essential Skills
3-5 years of experience setting up and operating CNC mills
3-5 years of experience operating CNC systems that use Fanuc or Siemens controls
Proficiency in CNC programming using Siemens NX
Experience with CAD/CAM based design software
Knowledge of operating CNC mills, including 3 Axis and 5 Axis, Makino
Work Environment
The work environment is clean, climate-controlled, and equipped with modern machines and tooling. The second shift team consists of three members.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $33.00/hr.
