Oswego Industries in Fulton, NY is looking for a full time Employment Services Associate.
The Employment Services Associate (ESA) works under the general administrative direction of the Program Manager and Services Director. The ESA follows all applicable regulations, agency policies/procedures, corporate compliance, mission, and vision. The ESA will work professionally and collaboratively with the Employment team to ensure quality services for individuals enrolled in employment services.
Responsibilities: - Meet established performance goals and deadlines in ways that comply with Access VR and OPWDD requirements based on individual services. - Communicate professionally and describe employment services to local businesses in geographic areas where services are provided. This may include but is not limited to phone calls, communicating with employers about requirements for tax credits or incentives, performance issues, barriers to employment, or concerns. Communicate issues with services to the direct supervisor. - Complete all required documentation by agency and funding sources. This may include, however, but is not limited to, work schedule calendars, case notes, HCBS, OPWDD, Access-VR reports, and billing. - Review billing and process billing per guidance. Provide scheduling feedback when necessary. Report any issues to your direct supervisor.Perform necessary follow-up functions to meet individual goals. - Prepare reports. - Maintains high standards of confidentiality. - Actively participate in meetings to provide follow-up, guidance, support, and feedback to the Employment team. Attending other agency meetings or training as required.
Education and Experience: - High School Diploma or Associate degree in Human Services or related field. - Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and or mental illness preferred. - Evidence of understanding billing processes and procedures.
Work Hours: Monday - Friday
Wage: $17 - $19 per hour
Requirement: Valid Driver's License
