Job Summary

This position is responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and supporting our IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, and related systems.

Responsibilities/Duties

Job Duties

  • Design, implement, and maintain the Company's network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, VPN, routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks.

  • Manage and administer servers, virtual machines, storage systems, and related hardware/software.Monitor network performance, troubleshoot network issues, and optimize network performance and reliability.

  • Implement and maintain security measures to protect systems, networks, and data.

  • Conduct regular system audits and perform backups to ensure data integrity and disaster recovery readiness.

  • Collaborate with IT team members, vendors, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and implement IT projects.

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior IT staff, promoting knowledge sharing and professional development within the team.

  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and processes to improve system/network efficiency and performance.

  • Provide technical support and train network users.

  • Coordinate and troubleshoot service requests submitted by users in a timely manner.

Required Skills

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.

  • Proven experience (5+ years) as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role in a large-scale IT environment.

  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, security protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, SSL/TLS), and network management tools.

  • Hands-on experience with server operating systems (Windows Server, Linux/Unix), virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).

  • Experience with enterprise-level storage systems (SAN, NAS) and backup solutions.

  • Solid understanding of ITIL framework, IT security best practices, and compliance standards (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR).

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

  • Industry certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, MCSE, VMware Certified Professional (VCP), or equivalent is preferred but not required.

  • Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation and system administration tasks is preferred but not required.

  • Project management experience or certification (PMP, ITIL) is preferred but not required.

  • Attention to detail and good analytical skills.

  • Ability to prioritize work and manage time effectively and efficiently.

  • Ability to work independently and use good judgment.

  • Must possess the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

  • Valid Driver's License and the ability to travel to work sites and plants, etc.

  • Ability to read and write in a professional manner.

  • Ability to successfully pass a background and credit check.

  • Excellent communication skills.
