The Field Service Engineer is responsible for conducting proper installation, maintenance, training, and upgrades thanks to his technical skills. He is ensuring customer satisfaction through his communication capacity and participates actively to the continuous improvement of our products via an efficient internal channel. Geographically the Field Service Engineer will be located close to Ghent, but other location can be accepted as well.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • Traveling to customer located in Belgium, Netherland, France primarily but other countries in Europe can be traveled as well. Travel represents around 80% of your time.

  • Prepare and organize your travels to your customers. Knowing your customers best, you are a strong part of preparing your trip in optimum way.

  • Conduct proper Installation, Training, Trouble shooting, training or upgrades.

  • Report your daily/weekly activity through a specific application.

  • Covering your local territory but as well the whole country you will, most of the time, be hosted in hotels from Monday to Friday close to your customers.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Willingness to travel up to 5 days per week (including 12 to 15 nights at the hotel per month)

  • Experience in traveling professionally is definitely a plus, as well as knowledge on printing presses.

  • 2 years degree in Mechatronics or similar allowing you to analyze, troubleshoot and fix systems including computers, mechanic and electricity.

  • Great communication skills as you interact everyday with customers.

  • Minimum English is necessary in order to communicate internally.
