Main responsibilities:

  • Mapping and evaluating national, regional, and local screening programs.

  • Co-designing a data-driven monitoring and registry strategy to identify and track patients at various stages of T1D or those at risk.

  • Leading local screening and monitoring strategies and programs, leveraging partnerships and innovative techniques as e.g. advanced analytics and AI for risk profiling.

  • Collaborating with KOLs and scientific societies/organizations that are critical in screening activities, participating in the evolution of screening guidelines and consensus statements.

  • Facilitating country medical readiness to develop and support screening protocols, education, and infrastructure.

  • Driving strategic partnerships with KOLs, DOLs, and societies related to screening.

  • Co-creating screening and monitoring tools with KOLs and scientific societies/organizations leading the screening activities.

  • Collaborating cross-functionally to identify opportunities to improve screening and monitoring and increase infusion accessibility by identifying new diagnostic channels and methodologies like digital healthcare solutions, deploying funding initiatives, demonstrating the benefits and value proposition of screening through local pilots, data gathering, and expansion.

  • Ensuring strict compliance and validating any screening and monitoring partnerships to ensure testing accessibility and standardization, electronic medical record companies and other data sources for sophisticated risk profiling, insights generation, monitoring, and telemedicine platforms.

About you

  • Medical degree or a PhD in a relevant field, background in Public Policy is preferred.

  • Seasoned experience in Medical Affairs combined with knowledge of Market Access and previous experience in type 1 diabetes, preferably including screening activities.

  • Solid experience with national health initiatives and launching products that require monitoring/screening.

  • Proven track record of forming partnerships with screening infrastructure entities and developing data-driven solutions, including AI, to monitor and identify at-risk individuals.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, capable of engaging and building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders combined with proficiency in influencing decision-making processes.

  • Agile worker, creative, and a strong team player who is self-motivated and results-driven, aiming for the best outcomes.

  • Strong project management skills, capable of leading, streamlining, and rapidly advancing large, complex programs.

  • Proficiency in English and French, with strong skills in both written and verbal communication and presentation.
