ORBIS Corporation Process Technician in Georgetown, Kentucky
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Deploy process technology to minimize process variation and optimize the manufacturing of our products.
2. Improve machine efficiency through automation uptime and optimization.
3. Prepare and set up material blending and loading.
4. Perform mold start-ups using plastic fundamentals (applicable locations only).
5. Maintain process guidelines though cycle times, E-Darts, clamp movement, etc.
6. Install, troubleshoot and remove EOAT.
7. Pull and understand FPI/SA paperwork and process variances.
8. Train other employees and new hires as needed.
9. Follow all company policies and procedures.
10. Actively participate in safety activities.
11. Participate in safety and communications meetings as scheduled.
12. Complete all safety and company compliance training on time and according to schedule.
13. Support in times of need: i.e., production support, vacation coverage, and overtime changeover support.
14. Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment and devices that are required, in accordance with all STW documentation (if STW is not developed for any process within this job, proper training techniques must be followed).
15. Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; promote and sustain all CI, 5S and STW activities.
16. Other duties as assigned.
Education:
High School or Equivalent
Work Experience:
Strong Mechanical Aptitude required

7p-7a rotating 2/2/3
