JOB SUMMARY
This position will be responsible for preventative maintenance (PM) on all mobile equipment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Meet physical demands of job according to the physical demands analysis. Follow all mine safety requirements and maintain a safe work record. Maintain a positive attitude with proactive work habits. Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations. Service all mobile equipment including oil, hydraulic changes, filter replacement and fluid level checks. Maintain air conditioning (AC) systems. Take accurate and timely oil samples for analysis. Minor mechanical troubleshooting and repairs, including changing lights, repair/replace grease lines and hydraulic hoses, repair mirror brackets etc. Utilize team skills/tools and participate in focus groups, team’s meetings, AIP’s Communicate with on-shift planner or coordinator. Work 12 hour 5/4 rotating day shifts with weekend coverage. Attend all team meetings. Other job assignments as requested Comply with Company drug and alcohol policy.
