Robert Half Executive Assistant in Glen Burnie, Maryland

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Executive Assistant based in Glen Burnie, Maryland. This role primarily involves providing administrative support to our CEO and other on-site employees. The Executive Assistant will be responsible for managing daily operational tasks, ensuring efficient office operations, and facilitating effective communication within the team.

Responsibilities:

• Support the CEO in day-to-day duties, ensuring they are prepared for meetings with organized research documents and notes

• Maintain a professional demeanor, assisting employees, diffusing conflicts, and making office visitors feel welcome

• Manage office communications, responding to messages and delegating communications to the appropriate department

• Ensure all security protocols are adhered to when visitors are on the property, providing proper escorts

• Provide proactive support to the CEO as defined, assisting with calendar management and scheduling

• Conduct research on clients, prepare reports, and coordinate and calendar for the Executive team as needed

• Perform receptionist duties, welcoming guests, identifying their purpose of visit and providing necessary assistance

• May be required to work extended hours or provide some personal admin services to the CEO.

Skills:

• Proficient in Receptionist Duties Requirements • Previous experience of at least one year in an Executive Assistant role or similar position

• Proficiency in performing Receptionist Duties including call handling and meeting scheduling

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure

• High level of discretion and confidentiality for sensitive information

• Proficiency in using office software such as MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Exceptional attention to detail

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
