Are you ready to gain hands-on experience in the financial industry? Arrow Financial Corporation is seeking motivated and ambitious college students for our first Summer 2025 Internship Program at our headquarters in Glens Falls, New York. The pay rate per hour is $18.00. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and explore career opportunities in banking and financial services.

About the Program:

Our 10-week, full-time (40 hours per week), paid internship program runs through middle of May to middle of August, and provides exposure to key areas of our business. We are looking for a Finance Intern.

Interns will participate in hands-on projects, networking events, community service, and mentorship opportunities while gaining a deeper understanding of the banking industry.

Internship Summary:

This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial forecasting, budgeting, liquidity management, and treasury operations. The intern will support the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Treasury team by assisting with financial modeling, preparing reports, and analyzing cash flow, financial performance, and investment strategies while learning about the FP&A function and how it contributes to the company’s success. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills, gain practical knowledge, and contribute to the company’s success.

What We Are Looking For:

College students who are eager to learn and take initiative in a professional setting with a GPA of 3.0 or higher pursuing a degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field

️ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

️ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal; comfortable communicating with customers, team members, and management

️ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) skills

️ Ability to utilize Excel functions (i.e. VLOOKUP), pivot tables, and data analysis

️ High degree of initiative and confidence

️ Solid organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks

Essential Job Functions:

️ Aid in the preparation of monthly reporting for the Board of Directors & Investor Presentation; including data analysis/mining regarding loan/deposits balances and applicable rates/pricing.

️ Assist with creating a detailed expense database to be used in forecasting/budgeting.

️ Perform ad hoc analysis support while supporting treasury operations.

️ Attend and participate in team meetings to understand planning and decision-making processes, gain insights into team dynamics and exposure to various functions and organizational processes.

️ Attend a continuing education event, branch visit and/or participate in a community service opportunity to promote corporate social responsibility.

️ Collaborate with interns from other departments within the company to share knowledge and attend developmental opportunities to build power skills including communication and problem solving.

️ Participate in capstone presentation at conclusion of program, showcasing your learning and contributions to the Executive and Senior Leadership teams.

Physical Demands - Must be able to:

️ Sit for prolonged periods of time and walk and stand for brief periods of time

️ Repetitively use a telephone and computer mouse and keyboard

️ Lift and move up to 15 pounds at a time
