Southwestern Energy Lease Operator in Gloster, Louisiana

Expand Energy is hiring Lease Operators for our Louisiana locations.
As a Lease Operator you will be responsible for operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of oilfield surface equipment and facilities in a safe, efficient, and environmentally sound manner and for collecting and recording production data.
To be successful in this role you will:
Perform daily surveillance of wells to check gauges, maintain equipment and report daily production
Inspect equipment and facilities for problems and perform routine maintenance and repairs
Test wells to determine production rates and problems
Optimize wells for maximum production
Collect, record and maintain production data
Adhere to all safety practices, policies and protocol
Handle emergency callouts as needed
Maintain vehicle in good and clean working condition
Perform other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor
Your Background Includes:
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Valid driver’s license with good driving record
A minimum of two (2) years’ experience with operations including but not limited to pad site compression, plunger lift and SWD
Working knowledge of production surface equipment and applications
Basic math skills
Basic computer skills with the ability to input and read data
Working independently under little supervision
Capable of working out-of-doors, where exposure to atmospheric conditions of extreme heat or cold, fumes, and gases are frequent. Exposure to noise, vibration, high pressure, moving/mechanical parts, electrical shock, chemical and caustic materials is common in the normal performance of the duties associated with this position.
The work of this positions involves the frequent movement of up to 100 lbs. to lift, push, pull or carry equipment.
Physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations
Ability to work overtime (nights and weekends)
Ability to be on call 24 hours a day when needed
Will be required to pass all pre-employment requirements including a physical demands, vision and drug-screening test along with a thorough background and driving record check
