Need 4 full time, temporary, seasonal Ag. Equipment Operators to work for in Goodhue, MN. From: 03/01/2024 to 12/31/2024 Work: 45 hrs./week, Mon. - Fri. 8 hrs./day, Sat. 5 hrs./day, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. As required for all workers in Minnesota, hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. Must Apply By: 08/01/2024 NOTE: Due to system rules, this job order will close before the recruitment period elapses on 08/01/2024, however a new job order will be created and posted for the remainder of the recruitment period. JOB DESCRIPTION: Assist with daily farm functions including but not limited to the following: operate various equipment/trucks/tractors for planting, spraying and harvesting of crops. Maintain/repair machinery and trucks. Grain handling, hauling farm commodities. Maintain farm grounds/mow. Other miscellaneous duties assigned. Crops: corn, soybeans. Work hours are determined by crop and weather conditions. The workday may begin/end earlier or later on any given day and evening, night hours may be required. Workers may be requested to work additional hours, weekends, holidays, and the Sabbath depending on crop conditions and need. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Three (3) months experience; valid Driver's License; High School Diploma or GED; must be physically able to perform all job duties safely, quickly, and skillfully. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance; employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.46 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
