Job Title: Quality Lab Technician
Job Description
Seeking a 2nd shift Quality Technician responsible for ensuring that products meet the required quality standards throughout the production process. This role involves conducting inspections, tests, and evaluations to identify any deviations from specifications. The ideal candidate will work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure quality control measures are implemented effectively and consistently.
Responsibilities
Collect and test samples (80% lab based, 20% floor based)
Measure, weigh, sift, shake, analyze chemicals and particle sizes
Perform visual inspections, utilize microscopes, and check hardness
Utilize Microsoft Office software to document test and release materials
Enter data/findings into SAP for reporting purposes
Use a Ro-Tap, Beckman Coulter, and other instruments (training provided if needed)
Essential Skills
2+ years of quality lab/technician experience
Experience working with specifications/equipment such as microns, micrometers, and scales
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Software - Excel, Outlook, Word
Ability to read and write in English
Work Environment
You will primarily be working in the lab, with some responsibilities on the production floor (80% lab, 20% floor). The manufacturing floor can get hot during the summer, and you will be working with powders daily. The position requires working on the 2nd shift, Monday to Friday from 2 pm to 10 pm, with every other Saturday as needed.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00/hr.
