Overview
As our Medical Surgical Nurse at St. Francis Medical Center, you’ll excel in your nursing career by providing care to patients admitted to our unit. Most of your patients are funneled in from other units providing you with the opportunity to build on your education and experience in specialized service lines such as cardiac, telemetry, orthopedics, neurology, critical care, surgical services, and emergency.

Our goal is to provide patients with high-quality medical care close to home where they can be supported by their family friends and community. Th e Medical Surgical Orthopedics and Pediatrics floor at St. Francis is a 29-bed unit dedicated to caring for a wide variety of medical surgical patients .
Compensation : Base rate + shift differential
Incentives: $25,000 sign on bonus till June 30th, up to $10,000 education assistance (must have graduated within 5 years)
Nurse Residency offered for all New Graduates
Responsibilities
Except to deliver care to 4-6 patients per shift
Administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, and chart with timely documentation
Collaborate with a variety of other healthcare professionals such as social work, care coordination, physical therapy, occupational therapy, lab, respiratory therapy, and imaging
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Active RN license in state of Nebraska or nurse licensure compact.
Basic Life Support(BLS) through American Heart Association

$33.50 - $48.58 /hour
