Express Employment Professionals Finishing Operator in Grand Junction, Colorado
We are immediately seeking an entry level Finishing Operator for a manufacturer in Fruita. This is a full time position with potential for long term.
Shift is Monday - Thursday 4:00am - 2:30pm
$17.85/hr
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
-Must adhere to all safety protocols -Must wear required PPE -Must know, understand, and perform all plant and departmental safety regulations and procedures and immediately reports any hazardous conditions -Perform safety observations and complete training assignments -Machine operator
Quality inspection:
-Packaging -Palletizing product -Accurately read tape measure -Other duties as directed
Must learn and adhere to all plant policies
Education and/or Experience and Skills:
-High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or up to one-month related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience -English proficiency and ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
Physical Demands:
-Must have good communication and listening skills -Must have good vision -Must have good dexterity and hand/grip strength -Must be able to lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs throughout the shift -Will be frequently standing and walking occasionally sit, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch
