System One Automation Engineer in Grand Rapids, Michigan
Summary:
This position will consist of porting the complete suite of the company's packaging machines from Beckhoff/CODESYS over to the Rockwell/Allen-Bradley platform in collaboration with engineers from the company's global headquarters, as well as the programming & commissioning of complete packaging lines.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of Allen-Bradley PLC programming experience
Experience with industrial automation
Required PLC programming proficiency: Rockwell/Allen-Bradley Logix designer, Rockwell studio 5000, FactoryTalk view, Optix
Experience with Rockwell motion control
Proficient in reading electrical schematics and drawings
Proficient in industrial networking and Ethernet/IP
In possession of a passport
Willingness to travel up to 30% to customer sites / headquarters in the Netherlands.
Robot programming experience with Fanuc or Kuka
Experience in Codesys\Twincat with Structured text
Experience in the packaging automation field
Ability to lead and to take initiative
