AJD Forest Products in Grayling is accepting applications for a Lumber Stacker.
The position is entry level with opportunities for advancement. We are willing to train the right person

Job Duties:
- Places lumber piece by piece in layers.
- Positions lumber on skids or carts to build foundation for lumber stacks.
- Bands bundles and records number of stacks by product and species.
- Cleans work area.

Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training.
Language skill:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routing reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups.
Mathematical Skill:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percentage, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
