The Lending Compliance Specialist works primarily in retail, consumer, and mortgage lending. As a Lending Compliance Specialist, you will: Assists in verifying the accuracy of information reported by customers on the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) Loan Application Register (LAR). Perform post-closing quality assurance audits of consumer and mortgage loans. Report detected errors to the AVP Compliance Manager and Loan Processing Control Manager. Perform reviews of retail non-originated loans. Report detected errors to the AVP Compliance Manager and Loan Processing Control Manager. Organize data from post-close quality assurance loan reviews (QA) and non-originated loan reviews into reports to be delivered to bank management. Work with loan production managers to ensure origination procedures are compliant with applicable statues and regulations. Provide support to the compliance team, and loan production related to lending regulations such as: Regulation Z (Truth in Lending), Flood Disaster Protection Act, Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), HMDA, etc. Provide administrative support and assistance to the Compliance Officer.
