*The current opportunity would work out of our Greenfield, OH location. *

The Opportunity:

This position is for a D Shift Assembly Production Associate depending on experience. The hours are Friday - Sunday 5pm -5am, work 36 hours get paid for 40 hours. This is an hourly position that does not involve direct management of people. In this role, you will report to the Production Lead. 

*Duties and Responsibilities: *

  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including Safety, Quality, and EMS 
  • Follow standardized work instructions.
  • Fully participate in and support the Corvac Quality System
  • Observe general and specific safety rules.  This includes observing light curtains and other safety devices while the machine is in operation.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the work area and contribute to the overall orderliness of the plant.
  • Process equipment to produce quality products, notify appropriate personnel if outside of parameters.
  • Fill out all required paperwork including but not limited to production, scrap, and downtime.
  • Rework and repair defective parts as needed.
  • Responsible for the quality of product produced and identifying any non-compliant component parts.
  • Responsible for assuring proper labeling is applied to finished goods containers.
  • Accountable for packed finished goods
  • Able to train others as needed.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

*BACKGROUND REQUIRED:                 *

  • Experience in fast paced manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Exposure to Lean manufacturing principles preferred.
  • High school diploma / GED preferred.

SPECIAL SKILLS:

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and twist for up to 12 hours and lift up to 20 lbs. 
  • Must have excellent reading, writing, communication, and math skills.
  • Ability to work OT as needed.
  • Must be able to use and read various measuring devices.
  • Operate HMI (Human Machine Interface) Screen
  • Ability to understand multiple types of assembly machine functions.
  • Problem solving knowledge and ability.
